Matthew and his crew did an outstanding job from communication to final completion. We are in Lubbock, TX and he was referred to us from friends in DFW for creating a strategy for addressing our roof, pergola, fence, garage and other assorted damage due to a major hail storm in June. Matthew and his crews were efficient, cost effective, and were incredible about ensuring that the job sites were always clean and without nails and trash. I know that his roofing crews policed the grounds every few hours during the two day repair. These guys constantly took the "right amount" of time to install all the necessary pieces of the roofing and wood trim. His painters and garage door installers were awesome. They communicated every few hours about their progress. Matthew was onsite a good deal of the projects to ensure satisfaction. Matthew's unique background also as a realtor made him look and complete projects to ensure that when our house is for sale it will pass inspections and be attractive to new buyers. Not only would we recommend them in the DFW area but anywhere in west Texas (Lubbock). We will use Matthew for other upcoming projects. Finally, Matthew is a faith filled man and we enjoyed getting to know him as well.

I can't say enough good things about Ryckman Realty & Construction! Matt Ryckman has been an incredible help on multiple projects for me. After a hailstorm last year, he guided me through the roofing process, working tirelessly with my insurance company as they went back and forth on coverage. His patience and expertise made a stressful situation much easier. More recently, I needed new flooring and initially reached out to another company listed as a distributor for the product I wanted. That company told me the product was discontinued and instead tried to sell me a different option at a much higher price than what I found elsewhere. Frustrated, I called Matt, and he went above and beyond to help me track down a distributor for the exact flooring I wanted. His team then installed it quickly and professionally, complete with new quarter-round. They took great care in the process—moving furniture, protecting the rest of the house from dust, executing a flawless installation, and even cleaning up and hauling away all the old materials. The best part? The total cost, including the flooring from the distributor and Matt’s installation, was significantly lower than what I would have paid if I had gone with the first company. Matthew and his team, created for us, a master bath that dreams are made of. A friend who is also a home builder, saw it and said, “this is the prettiest bathroom he has ever seen.” Matthew is a perfectionist who was here every single day to check on the progress of the job. His standards and high expectations were evident in the sub’s he hires. If there was an issue on the project ( it is construction after all) it was addressed immediately and until we were completely satisfied. No short cuts for this team. The clean up at the end of each day was impressive, and important to us, often it was Matthew himself. This team is about Excellence. His project manager and design guru, Reuben helped me to design, choose products, and assure placement of everything to my liking. He made suggestions, that I never would have thought of and yet always allowed us to make the final decision. From demo (to the studs I might add) to the repositioning of the shower and vanities to the finished product, we were working with professionals.

Ryckman Group replaced my mom’s roof on her house, along with some other damaged items from recent storms. He was quick to respond, patient with my mom, who suffers dementia, and all around accommodating to making sure the job was done properly. He and his crews were timely, professional, efficient, extremely patient, knowledgeable, and overall did an exceptional job. I can happily and confidently recommend this company and will personally use them with other household repairs in the future.
